As the Walt Disney World theme parks reopen, there are a number of changes guests will encounter, from enhanced cleaning procedures to new safety guidelines like required face coverings and social distancing. The event schedule is also looking different as the resort adjusts to make the parks as safe and enjoyable as possible for all guests.
With EPCOT reopening on July 15, a new modified food & wine festival is now taking place. The Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will run through the fall season (exact end date is to be announced). Over 20 marketplaces will be featured with culinary treats from around the world representing six continents. There will also be live entertainment at the American Gardens Theatre with performances by EPCOT’s own Mariachi Cobre and the JAMMitors crew, a scavenger hunt with Remy, and exclusive festival-themed merchandise.
The biggest part of the festival, of course, is the variety of food & beverage items available for purchase at the marketplaces set up around EPCOT. Before you visit, Walt Disney World recommends downloading the My Disney Experience mobile app onto your device and looking for the Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival digital guide which includes lots of information on the event. You can also preview the menus for each of the marketplaces and some pictures of the available items below!
