The Florida Aquarium has visitors ooh-ing over its newest additions throughout the Aquarium. The Aquarium is proud to welcome 3,000 new animals and 184 new species to The Florida Aquarium family since last November. The new animals include species like hissing cockroaches, brown pelicans, spiny lobsters, spotted goatfish and baby American alligators. The Aquarium has added numerous new ocean jellies to the habitats as well. Crystal jellies, sea nettles, upside-down jellies and more have been added and are a “must sea”!
Whether you go for tiny and cute or sleek and slithery, you’ll find new faces to swoon over — and fellow fans to cheer with — at the Aquarium this holiday season.
No matter what time of year or what time of day you visit the Aquarium there is always something new and exciting to see. Guests are anxious to see our new arrivals, but we also have updated exhibits and plenty of animals that call the Aquarium home.
