The Straz joins with other local arts organizations to offer FREE tickets to several performances to furloughed government employees, while supplies last. Offer includes:

- Club Jaeb performance by singer/songwriter Carrie Newcomer.
- Monday, Jan. 21 at 7:30 p.m. (two tickets)
- Jobsite Theater’s production of Shakespeare’s Othello.
- Friday, Jan. 18 at 8 p.m. (two tickets)
- Saturday, Jan. 19 at 8 p.m. (two tickets)
- Sunday, Jan. 20 at 4 p.m. (two tickets)
- Friday, Jan. 25 at 8 p.m. (two tickets)
- Saturday, Jan. 26 at 8 p.m. (two tickets)
- Thursday, Jan. 31 at 8 p.m. (two tickets)

- The uncensored, exhilarating and heartrending folk-punk music experience Hundred Days.

“The Tampa Bay community is pulling together to support local government workers who have been affected by the shutdown,” says Straz Center President Judy Lisi. “So, we’re joining our colleagues at Ruth Eckerd Hall and The Florida Orchestra to provide an entertaining diversion while these workers wait for their jobs to start again. We’re happy to do it.”
Tickets are available at the Straz Center Ticket Sales Office, no earlier than 90-minutes prior to show time with valid government employee ID.
