Memorial Day Weekend at Busch Gardens Tampa

This Memorial Day Weekend at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is filled with special events like a visit from Jack Hanna and the kick off of Summer Nights, plus a flash sale with huge discounts on single day tickets and 2018 Fun Cards and a special offer for veterans and their families. Check out all that is happening this Memorial Day Weekend below!

Flash Sale

Announced this morning, a huge flash sale is taking place on the park’s website through June 3, 2018. Included in the sale are single day tickets for Busch Gardens for just $45, a savings of about $60 off the regular gate price of $104.99. You can add a day at Adventure Island for just $10. A single day admission to just Adventure Island is also available for just $29.

Fun Cards valid for the rest of the 2018 season at either park with no blockout dates are also available for just $59 each. While the Fun Cards allow unlimited admission, it’s important to remember they don’t include many of the perks of an annual pass, which give unlimited admission for 12 months, free parking, 10% discounts on most things in park, and the monthly rewards program. If you plan on visiting several times and will be parking a car, it may be worth getting an annual pass instead. Florida residents can choose to do the EZpay program, where you make monthly payments starting at about $14 with no down payment required.

Purchase your tickets or learn more about the Salute to Summer flash sale on the park’s site. The sale ends June 3, 2018, and the single day tickets must be used by July 1, 2018.

Free Admission for Veterans

Yesterday, Busch Gardens (and all of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment properties) announced they were extending the Wave of Honors program to veterans and their families through July 4, 2018. The promotion allows a veteran and up to three guests to visit one of the Busch Gardens or SeaWorld parks for free. The program is available online only on the park’s website.

This promotion is in addition to the ongoing Waves of Honor program which allows active duty military and up to three dependents complimentary admission once per year to one of the SeaWorld or Busch Gardens parks. Full details for the Waves of Honor program, including the current veterans promotion, can be found on the Waves of Honor site.

Jack Hanna Weekend

On May 26 & 27, 2018, “Jungle” Jack Hanna will be visiting Busch Gardens Tampa for meet and greets and several special shows. Guests can see Hanna and a number of special animal ambassadors at the Stanleyville Theater each day at 12, 2 and 4 p.m.

Summer Nights Kicks Off
