LEGOLAND Florida Resort will deliver loads of awesomeness in 2019 with a lineup of special events and a blockbuster grand opening when THE LEGO MOVIE WORLD opens on March 27! THE LEGO MOVIE DAYS, a new four-weekend event, joins returning favorites Brick or Treat and Holidays at LEGOLAND Florida Resort for a year packed full of fun. All events are designed for the whole family and offer incredible entertainment and great value.
With the exception of the Brick Dash 5K Run and Brick Passes purchased after November 2018, every event is included with park admission at no additional charge. Guests can mark their calendars for all seasonal events and openings including:
LEGOLAND Water Park: Season Opening on March 9
Come enjoy a full spring and summer floating along Build-A-Raft River, splashing in DUPLO Splash Safari and the Joker Soaker water playground, taking a dip in the LEGO Wave Pool or speeding down the Splash Out and Twin Chasers slides. THE LEGO MOVIE WORLD: Opening March 27
Guests go from the theater to the theme park with the launch of THE LEGO MOVIE WORLD. Created in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, this impressive expansion features three new rides and numerous attractions; all inspired by the characters and themes of the worldwide blockbuster THE LEGO MOVIE and the exciting new big-screen animated adventure sequel THE LEGO MOVIE 2: The Second Part.
Red, Brick & Boom: July 4-6
Celebrate America’s Independence over three days as the skies above Lake Eloise fill with one of the biggest fireworks shows of the year! Before the sun goes down, help create a giant U.S. flag out of thousands of LEGO bricks.
NEW – THE LEGO MOVIE DAYS: July 13-14, 20-21 & 27-28 and August 3-4
Fans of Emmet, Wyldstyle, Unikitty and Benny, rejoice! After watching the sequel to the blockbuster THE LEGO MOVIE, LEGOLAND will offer the complete theater to the theme park experience through event activities, special character meet-and-greet experiences, a THE LEGO MOVIE mosaic build, scavenger hunt and themed food.
Fire Safety Weekend: August 10-11
Presented by the National Fire Protection Association, this entertaining and informative event teaches kids about fire safety with a variety of fun activities in the theme park, including information from NFPA’s annual Fire Prevention Week theme.
Brick or Treat: October 5-6, 12-13, 19-20 & 26-27
Our popular Halloween event returns full of spooky, kooky LEGO fun for kids. The friendly-not-frightening event features trick-or-treating inside the theme park, giant LEGO models and photo ops, LEGO build activities, meet-and-greets with LEGO Halloween characters and a Halloween-themed firework spectacular in Pirates’ Cove.
Brick Dash 5K: October 12
The community-focused wellness event welcomes runners and walkers of all ages. Registration is required and will be available online at a later date.
Holidays at LEGOLAND: November 29-30, December 1, 7-8, 14-15 & 20-31
Celebrate the holidays the LEGOLAND way! This jolly time of year features a combination of seasonal shows, special treats, twinkling lights and more during Christmas Bricktacular and Kids’ New Year’s Party!
