Glazer Children’s Museum Launches GCM at Home

The Glazer Children’s Museum is temporarily closed to the public in response to CDC recommendations, but even from home the museum is still a source of fun and learning for Tampa Bay families. The museum has launched GCM at Home, a new section of its website that features activities to keep families entertained and learning while schools are closed. “We know that families are navigating lots of change right now,” said Sarah Cole, president and CEO of the Glazer Children’s Museum. We know that play can help combat stress and make the days go by a little more smoothly. We are so glad we can continue to be a resource to help families stay playful during this time.”

The museum’s staff members are practicing social distancing like everyone else, so they will be sending virtual content from their living rooms to yours. The site will include science experiments, art projects, story times, printable activity sheets, and more. Follow along at GlazerMuseum.org/GCMatHome.
