Limited Reopening at Universal Orlando’s CityWalk

A handful of eateries and shops will reopen at Universal Orlando’s CityWalk on May 14. Like other attractions, restaurants, and shops that have recently reopened, there will be a number of guidelines for guests to follow if they visit.

Guests can visit CityWalk from 4 to 10 p.m. daily during this limited reopening. Self-parking in Universal Orlando’s garages will be complimentary for the time being; valet parking will remain unavailable.

Along with practicing social distancing (staying at least six feet apart from others) and other common precautions like frequent handwashing, all guests will be required to wear facemasks and have their temperature checked upon arrival. Guests with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher will not be admitted. Guests may remove facemasks while eating but are asked to keep them on at all other times will at CityWalk.




The locations that will be open at CityWalk beginning May 14:

Full-service restaurants and quick-service food locations:

  • Auntie Anne’s Pretzels
  • Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurant and Market
  • Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville (outside & Lone Palm)
  • Red Oven Pizza Bakery – mobile ordering available
  • Voodoo Doughnut – mobile ordering available

Beginning May 15, the following dining locations are also reopening:

  • Cinnabon – mobile ordering available
  • Cold Stone Creamery
  • Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen  (Dessert Foundry & Candy Smith areas)

Shopping venues:

  • Hart & Huntington Tattoo Company (retail only)
  • Universal Studios Store and select merchandise carts
  • Airbrush

Entertainment venue:

  • Hollywood Drive-In Golf

Each restaurant will have limited seating and a limited menu; reservations are recommended. All other shops, restaurants, nightclubs, Cinemark, and Blue Man Group will remain closed until further notice.

Universal Orlando theme parks remain closed at least through May 31, 2020. No further news about their reopening has been announced. For more details on CityWalk’s limited reopening, visit their website.
